So a lot going on this week, Sunday we had Trenton and Jess over for dinner, roast and potatoes just for Colton.
Monday I decided I will be having Colton and Hailey start piano the first of Sep.

Tuesday the kids and I went school shopping witch they did not like they hated the hole idea of school uniforms and said many times how boring it is, but I love it, I don't think I got nearly enough but hopefully it will last until after Christmas.

Wednesday was the PG Library's free swim party we went to witch was lots of fun, the kids had lots of friends to play with and wanted to stay longer but we had to get home to dinner.

Today I moved Colton and Peyton's room around we took out the queen bed we had in there and Marc took it down to the cabin. We were given a full size bed witch I but in there room and then we cleaned a lot. I got 6 loads of laundry done and now have a mountain to fold, I think tomorrow we will finish cleaning the house and next week I think the kids and I will go stay at the cabin Mon. Through Thur. since there is now carpet and I will have a nice bed to sleep in.
I'll take and post some pictures when we get home.

Well a lot has been going on this summer I think we have just gone from one thing to the next all summer. I have know idea when it will slow down either, this weekend we will be working at the family cabin again, we have a lot of painting and tongue and groove to do to finish the basement.

Mom is going to have her cousins party there next weekend and is hoping to have a bed and lights in every room here's to hoping. Its going to be a long weekend.

Also I found out a couple of weeks ago that Hailey got into Lincoln so now I have all the kids in the same school I am so existed, I can't wait I just wish the kids were as happy as I am.

Colton and Hailey will also start piano when school begins, and Colton will start taking Spanish he is a little nerves I hope he will pick it up quick he will be taking at school, he and Hailey will also be in chorus. Peyton starts kindergarten I can't believe he is big enough for that he seems so small, he is the only one existed to go to school probably because he hasn't ever been.

I keep hoping I will be better at keeping up this blog but then the month is gone and I haven't even thought about it so i hope I'm back before to long. Enjoy

Lake Creek 4th of July

Camping! So we went camping over the 4th. When we got up to the top of Lake Creek and found a spot and got all set up it got a little windy and cold so we went in the trailer after dinner to watch a movie before long it was really windy then on Sat. we were able to sit out a bit, the wind was still pretty cold but we played outside most of the day until it started to rain after the kids got their smors done. Sunday we woke up to rain and then it started to SNOW! so when it slowed down a little we decided to pack up and head home instead of staying in the trailer all day. Monday we went to the Lindon pool all day and the kids loved it. I guess coming home early wasn't so bad.

8 month old Crew is a chunk what can I say I must feed the kid cream, I put him on one of the fruit scales at the store a while ago and he weighed 19lbs 8oz and I'm sure that is pretty close. But don't you just love all the rolls and he just sinks in and is so cuddly. I LOVE it!

Colton lived at the baseball fields for the month of June. Practicing once and sometimes twice a week and playing games, lots of them. And he loved every minute of it. This is his Diamond Backs team after winning the city tournament and then went straight to state because they won every game.

7 Peaks!

Well I forgot my camera but whats new I usually do.
So yesterday we went to 7 peaks and WOW! Just a bit busy, well not a bit but a lot busier then I have seen in a long time. The kids had a blast, good thing for cousins. I didn't see the kids much they were having so much fun! I sat a lot Crew was fine the first hour we were there then he woke up from a nap and was hot (more like burning hot) poor kid pretty much slept the day away. I took Laike on the lazy river a few times, and Maddy took him too, he wanted to stay in the water the hole time. So I with Tana's help sat and held a sick baby. It was fun (the kids said) I don't know how ready I am to go back next year, I think we'll go to Lindon pool all day next year it's all the fun minus the big slides and the hour long lines. So here I sit still holding sick baby boy what to do? poor thing. I love all the cuddling but not getting anything done. Life goes on.

What can I say I have the cutest nieces around, I love them all and we had lots of fun Saturday at the shower. Joli is getting married on July 6th to Reed Brenchley, Sam is marrying Alex Farrell on July 16th and Brittany and Jerad Curtis had a beautiful baby girl on June 2nd 2010 Her name is Hadley Rae Curtis she was 8lb.
5 oz. and 20 in. long she is so cute and tiny. I love you all girls.

We went to Huck Finn Days again witch the kids always love, they run to do the pony rides first and then go to the other games and then end at the play ground. This year was hot but always fun.

Well I guess this is the only picture I took at the rodeo, I was there 4 nights in a row you would think I would have taken a few more but I had my hands full all the time. You can see in the pic. who came Wed. night Codey did the Wild Cow Milking this year (know pictures but Jessyca recorded it for us.)

Thursday, Johnnie and Sarah and some of their freinds came and Peyton did the Muttin Busting and I filmed that too.

Friday, Kirsten and kids, Tana, John and kids, Sam and Alex, Lindsay and others all came it was tuns of fun.

We had lots of fun every night and I was kink of sad to have the week be over but I like to get back to the ruteen if there is one in the summer.

Wow! I have not blogged for a very long time. A lot has been going on at our house. We've been camping two times lifes been going on the rest of the time and the most important is that SCHOOL IS OUT!!! I love having the kids home Colton just finished Baseball and is loving being able to stay in bed and be lazy. Hailey has read a lot, 5 books since school let out and has played a lot with freinds. Peyton is in T-Ball and loves to have Hailey home all the time. Laike is well what can I say he gets into everything has the fit throughing down and knows that if he does'nt get what he wants from me he'll get it from Dad, Colton, and always from Hailey he loves that girl. Codey has been doing a lot working, going down to the cabin and working, and right now spending every night at the rodeo grounds getting ready for next week. We LOVE Strawberry Days! And as for me well SEWING comes to mind. I made a king quilt a picnic blanket for Sam and a dress and a skirt for Hailey to wear to Joli and Sam's weddings in July. So who knows when I will look at this blog again we have a very busy summer, so untill next time witch I am hoping isn't in 3 more months, I did post a lot of pictures to keep the 4 people who even look at this blog busy untill I'm back.

So I was feeling a little bored. You know the feeling when you go around the house picking up, doing laundry, making beds, getting dinner ready, doing carpool, helping with pre-school, cleaning, washing the dishes, sewing baby quilts, feeding the baby, holding the baby, fixing lunch, you know just life. well I walked down the hall and was looking for something and I saw this......... Wow! how was I going to find the thing I wanted in here (as you can see below) so I desided I needed something to do and well it only took about 5 hours inbetween Life you know, and I LOVE IT!!!!!!

So I just keep walking down the hall I can't get enuff of it. Maybe it will wear off in a few days but rite now it is the most organized place in my house and I catch myself just standing in the hall, looking. Well I LOVE to organize I just wish I was that bored all the time.

So happy organizing all. I know the next thing you look at you won't be able to walk by and not just do a little organizing. Such is life you know!

Doctor NOOOOO!!

Peyton loves to go to the Dentist but the doctor, not so much. We got there and it all started the crying and yelling and wanting to go home, We were there for his kindergarten check, so he calmed down and tryed to be good so he could get his treat. So he got waighed he was 36 pounds, and 42 inches, tall. He had his eyes checked and he can see grate, he had his finger pocked witch he did not like, and then they came in with the shot tray, and here it started again the crying, kicking and yelling he wanted to get out of here. Well I don't blame him it was horable, he had to have 4 shots so we started to hold him and he would'nt have it, so we layed him down and they did it in his legs the poor kid was telling them it hurt and they could do it in his arms but they were done. He could'nt even walk the next day, but he told me he Loved me even if I let them hurt him. Oh I love that little boy.

Wow! has it already been three months? It seems as if Crew has always been a part of our family, but has only been with us here for 3 months. So we had our wonderful Chinese new year dinner on the 13th of Feb. it was very good as always and we had way to much food as always too. Kari and mom started cooking at around 10:00a.m. and I got there at about 11:00 then came Kirsten and Tana we got done at about 4:50 and we got to eat all this good food at 5:00 fun times. Love you mom and thanks for all the good food, a grate family and all the wonderful memories.

I caught Laike and Paige under the table kissing well Laike was doing the kissing and Paige really wanted to get away from him. I missed the kiss but got a Picture anyway.

What can I say it has been awhile I was trying to get caught up on the old blog and wow was I behind. I can't say it's because I have been busy just not wanting to do anything. So I posted alot. Not that to many of you keep track, so I mostly do it for something to do. I just wasted 2 hours that I could have been cleaning my house or something but this was more fun. A side note Happy Birthday to my little(big) brother Johnnie who is turning 28 today. I hope you have a wonderful birthday. So I hope to be better about this whole blog thing and keep up better that means I better get the camera out and take some pictures. So untill next time see you later. So every year we go and cut our christmas tree. The kids have so much fun playing in the snow and with cousins. We always go the day after thanksgiving with the fam. This year like always it seems something happens, this year the van battery died and know one had any jumper cables so we had to flag someone down. It all work out and it was really fun. August 29th 1959 Was the day mom and dad became who they are today.
Now 50 Years latter and what have you got? 10 Wonderful Children 8 spouses 45 grandchildren and one loving and close family.
What more could you ask for?
Well the most wonderful mom and dad ever.
I don't know how we could be the kind of family we are without such great parents who in 50 years have given so much of their time and love to so many. They gave us all that we ever needed and taught us so much, letting us chose our way in life giving us the apportunity to become who we are today. Without your Faith and testimony of the gosple we would not be were we are today Mom and Dad I love you so much, and know that we will be an Eternal family and be together forever what grater gift could you have given your family then that. (Nothing.) So Thank you Mom and Dad I love you.

So this is kind of late but OH Well!
Colton and Hailey on the first day of School
They were so cute they both new what they wanted
to wear and got up and ready to go. They are both on the
8:00 a.m. tracks and so they are up early, and even better
they are home by 2:15 witch I love. Some days are better
then others getting up and fed and out the door on time,
Hailey has the hardest time but has gotten better. I can't
wait untill school is out and we can get back to life.
That is having fun. I guess I have a while before that happens.

Well here it is the big old cabage.

Colton got this Cabage plant at the end of school in May for a school contest he had to grow it and then in Sept. take in a picture so he can win a prize. So it got pretty big 13 pounds and 10 inches across. Almost to big for him to hold, but he told me was tough and I'm sure he is.

So we went to the farm at Thanksgiving Point on a $2 Teusday and it was so busy, but the kids had tuns of fun and Laike loved all the animals. We stood in line for the pony ride for almost an hour so after that we left.

So funny. We went to Smiths today to return the soccer ball grandma Cherri got Peyton for his birthday since we got him one too. So after going down and looking at all the toys he could pick out he looks at me and says (I need some tools mom) so we went over to the tools and he picked out a hammer a tape measure and a screw driver it was so cute. He has'nt put them down yet.

So my little boy is not so little any more, he is growing up so fast. Peyton just had his 5th birthday, (a hole hand as he says) He is my little doll, and I LOVE him so much. He is so fun to have around and now that School has stared he spends a lot more time with me, because the big kids are gone. He is also getting much better at playing with Laike, and is becoming a very big help witch I will need in a couple of months when we will have our new baby.
Peyton loves to give hugs.
He loves pasta.
He loves to go swmming and is quite the little fish.
He loves to play soccer and ball with his dad.
He loves to go camping and hunting.
His favorite animal is the Zebra. (Who new?)
He loves the park.
And can't wait for pre-school to start next week.
He love to read the scripture every night and hates when we forget.
And I don't know what I would do without him.

This June and July it was T-Ball time and Peyton was very exsided about getting to play this year. He loved it and had lots of friends on his team. It was so fun to go and watch these tiny little kids having so much fun hitting a ball.

So for the forth of July this year we went camping. We camped at the Temple Hill Camp Ground at the bottom of the Manti Temple. It was a pretty nice camp ground they had hook ups and nice restrooms with showers and even a pool we went down on a Thursday night and on friday night we went over to Eric and Juli's for dessert for Lily's birthday then on Sat. we went up and worked on the cabin ( whike I slept all day long with the flu) then we came home on Sunday after having dinner at Eric and Juli's house. The kids had a grate weekend and played and played.

Codey is on the Strawberry Days Rodeo Committee so I have to go it alone. But this year was pretty fun, Wed. it rained and after getting so wet we went home. Thurs. we all went and it was a wonderful night. Fri. it was hot Hailey and I went and Lindsay, TJ, Ladd, Sam and Alex all came it was so fun. On Sat. Colton, Peyton and I went we thought we would go and just hang out in the back with Codey because of the rain but when we got there at 7:30 the rain had just stoppesd and it was beautiful. A wet muddy rodeo is the best. We had so much fun we were all ready for another night to bad that was the end. Untill next year and all the fun things we get to do the week of Strawberry days fun fun.

Kirsten, Bridger, Preston, Landon, Cade and Sarah all came to the rodeo this year. Lindsay, TJ and Ladd also came it was so fun to have so many with us this year and to see the kids ridding the sheep and doing the cash cow.

Johnnie and Sarah and Abby and Libby came with us to the Rodeo. They were so cute they wanted to wear Hailey and Peytons hats through the hole rodeo.

Orem Fest June 13th 2009

Sitting just waiting for the parade to start.

Before the parade started there was this beautiful rainbow, what a sight to start the parade off to a grate start.

So we went to the Orem parade this year, and when we got there our blankets and chairs had all been moved so we had to find a new spot, not fun. After getting a spot and sitting down the parade started. This year Colton, Hailey and Peyton got to be in the parade. They rode in the Corn Belleys train, they had so much fun.

Summer fun,
We have been having alot of fun this spring,
summer, when it isn't raining of course.

The kids love to be outside when its nice and
they love getting to go new places. We went
to a Bees game last week and the kids had so
much fun, it was really long but the kids were
pretty good, after the game they had a fire works
show that was really good too.

It is so fun to get to be with my kids and do
so many fun things with them. I can't wait for
the rest of our summer fun.

So I love the month of June.
We start summer brake, with the kids, there is a lot more to do and keep us all buzy. Colton is in a summer school for 2 weeks to help with his reading. We started baceball games last night and Peyton starts T-Ball tonight. Next week is Orem Fest, and of course the third weed of June is always STRAWBERRY DAYS Yehaa!! Starting out that week will be the free swim on Mon, Tue, is the concert in he park, Wed, is the childrens parade, carnival and of course the RODEO, Thursday, Hailey and Peyton will be Muttin Busting and Colton will be doing the cash cow, and then the Rodeo Fri, and Sat, so much fun and Codey will be there at the Rodeo all week long. so again I have to do it all alone. Life is good and what fun it is to have so much fun with my cute little family.And the on to the summer Pools Swimming lessons camping and lots of family fun. Thats what summer is all about. FUN FUN FUN!!!!

So Colton got to have a birthday party this year and he wanted to go bowling.
So he invited some friends Hunter, Hayden and Conner and we went to Jack and Jills bowling. They ate lots of pizza and then opend presants. They all had lots of fun.

My cute cute kids loving everything about summer, being outside, icecream, and of course with Hailey a grate lap to sit on she loves her grandpa.

And I love my mom and dad they are the most loving selfless people I know and I would not be where I am now without everything they have done for me. my kids and Codey I love you mom and dad you are the best.

We also went over to Grandpa and Grandma Hall's it's fun to see the kids have so much fun where ever they go, and of coure you can't leave out the basketball.

Codey made home made cresm soda for dinner it was so good. My kids love to play at Stefans house because there are so many fun things to play with. and Laike loved the ice cream cone.

This is the play house Stefan built in his beautiful backyard it is so awsome all the kids just love it .

Stefan and Shannons dog Penny had her her 3rd batch of puppys a few weeks ago she has had 9 each time. The kids will sit and hold them for hours. We had dinner at their house on mothers day it was wonderful. We also had Landons and Garretts Birthdays. it was tons of fun.

The kids love to go swimming,

last week. It was the first time we have

And somewhere along the line it is important for the
character development of our children to learn that
"the earth still revolves around the sun"
and not around them.

How true that is. My kids are always wanting something new, something better or something someone else has. How do you teach them the value of what they do have,

and what it means to work for something. How do I love them and not give them so much. They think they need it all, lets go do this, can't I have that, when is enough enough.

You want to give your kids everything, and best of what it is, you want them to have it all.

But then all I do is ask them to clean their room, put the toys away ahhh!

When does it end!

I look around at all I have, my beautiful kids, my house, my husband who works so hard to provide for us, my family that I love so much, all my nieces and nephews, sister and brother

in-laws, my in-laws I have so much to be thankful for, I hope I can teach my kids how much we have and how to be grateful for it all. Thank you Mom and Dad for teaching me that I don't need it all, as long as we have our family around us. That is all that really matters.

Laike has started crawling into this stool all the time then he sits and crys because he can't get out it is so funny.

So if come to Pleasant Grove much on 100 E. across the street from the PGJHS you will see this it has grown over the last month or so. So on Saturday I stoped to take this picture, through out the day it got warmer and most of the outside towers you see fell down, but I thought this was so cool and the kids love to drive past to see if it has gotten bigger.

Colton does a book report every month at school so in the month of January they were asked to read a biography of someone and give an orel report on the person so he chose Dr. Seuss. He did a grate job he got a little scared and had to read some of it but it was Ok.

Well Haily is I think the best student in her class, so I got a call the other day from her teacher at school to say that she was reciving an award, So at their stand and shout assembly she got this. So I guess you can see what a wonderful little girl she is.

So I just spent the day at my mom and dads house. This morning my nephew Gabe got Baptized, after that we went to my parents house and had a wonderful IHOP breakfast, waffles, pancakes, hashbrowns and eggs, so good Tana. Then my mom, since coming home from China has put on a huge Chinesse New Years dinner witch we had tonight, I think I can remember 14 dishes I think? there was so much good food, you have to taste everything and I am still so full. Mom and everyone else who cooked it was so good. Kirsten the soup was soooooooo good. It is always so fun to get together with the family . Wendy thanks for letting my kids come over to your house and thanks to all the girls who were there watching them I love you all.

So I just got the news that I'm going to be an aunt again thanks to Sarah, does everyone know or did I spill the beans, if I did Sarah I'm sorry and everone else keep quiet. Yesterday I became an aunt again too, Trenton and Jessyca had thier first baby, Lily Mae was 6 lbs. 6 ons. and 19 inch. She is so cute and little, what fun with all the new babies.
